About the experience

Take your training beyond the studio. Performance in Practice is a 90-minute cross-training experience designed for professional and aspiring dancers, athletes, and anyone who loves to move.

The workshop begins with a 45-minute athletic mat Pilates class led by Jenavieve Adams, focusing on stamina, strength, range of motion, mobility, and mind-body connection. Through intentional movement and full-body conditioning, you'll build tools to support your performance and complement your existing training.

Then, join Dylan Modugno, licensed physical therapist specializing in performing arts medicine, for a 45-minute workshop exploring movement mechanics, injury prevention, and strategies to help you train smarter, move more efficiently, and build long-term resilience.

After we'll stick around to chat all things PT, Pilates, Dance, Athletic Cross-training, and just life in NYC.

Whether you're a professional dancer, an aspiring performer, a competitive athlete, or simply an athletic mover, this workshop will help you better understand your body and approach your training with greater awareness and intention.
